Welcome to Photo & Film 20!
You have completed Digital Arts 10 and have now branched off into the photography and film stream where you are going to take your skills to a whole new level.
Photography and videography is about capturing the world one moment at a time. It seems simple - point your camera and push a button. However, we are going to look beyond this and learn about and experience the Science and the Art behind good Photography.
This term in Photo we will be exploring important concepts such as Exposure, Digital Processing, and Lenses. In Film we will be exploring Pre-production, Production, Post-production. You will learn how to get the most out of your camera by learning about it's different options and applying the concepts above.
We have a ton of awesome equipment here in the HHHS CTS Department and you're going to use it - Digital SLR Cameras, a variety of lenses, mics, lighting systems and other studio equipment. You will also have access to some of the best (Industry Standard) software out there - Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere.
